Luggage on Sale

Samsonite leads any luggage sale in Canada on Amazon.ca – the Freeform, Omni and Winfield hardside lines are regulars – with American Tourister, part of the same group, covering lower price points with lines like Moonlight and Stratum. Delsey Paris, Travelpro's Maxlite and Platinum Elite and SwissGear fill out the range, alongside duffels, backpacks and garment bags.

Carry-on limits vary by airline, but many sit around 55 x 40 x 23 cm including wheels and handles; budget carriers are often stricter, and an expansion zip can push a bag over. Polycarbonate shells flex and recover from knocks, ABS is lighter and cheaper but can crack, and ballistic-nylon softside bags add outside pockets. Spinners with four wheels glide through terminals; two-wheel bags cope better with curbs and snowy sidewalks.

Luggage prices dip on Prime Day in July, Black Friday and Cyber Monday and during Boxing Week. Between those, collection refreshes and colour changes clear older models, which is where a quiet luggage sale often comes from.

Sets and larger checked sizes are discounted most often, and colours beyond black and navy frequently sit lower too. The best-selling carry-on in plain black holds its price best – when it appears here, the saving is measured against the retailer's own list price, so it's worth taking seriously.

The discount shown here is not our own math: it is the difference between today's price and the list price the retailer itself displays. If there is no list price, we show no percentage – better no discount than an invented one. The page updates automatically; prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears instead of lingering as an expired deal.

Salewunder is funded by affiliate links: if you buy through a link here, we earn a commission. It does not change your price, and what gets listed is decided by the discount, not the commission.
