Tech

Tech on Salewunder Canada means the gear that sits on your desk, in your pocket or behind the TV: headphones and earbuds, Bluetooth speakers, Wi-Fi routers and mesh systems, SSDs and memory cards, smartwatches and fitness trackers, chargers, cables and docks. The brands you'll find in this section include Sony, Samsung, JBL, Bose, Logitech, Anker, Garmin, TP-Link, NETGEAR, Belkin and SanDisk. Which of them are reduced at any given moment changes constantly, and this page only ever shows the current state.

The single most useful thing to know: most of these companies replace their models on a yearly or two-yearly cycle, and the outgoing model is where the real reductions live. Before you buy, check what the successor actually added. Often it's a slightly better microphone, a new colour or a marginal battery gain, and the previous generation does the same job for noticeably less. If the newer model dropped a feature you care about, the older one is the better buy regardless of price.

For Canadians the tech calendar has a few windows that matter. Prime Day in July and Amazon's October event both lean heavily on audio, storage and networking. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the deepest across the board, and Boxing Week clears whatever didn't move in December, running well into January.

What tends to get reduced: colourways being retired, last year's generation once the replacement ships, and multipacks of chargers, cables and cards. What rarely does: a flagship in its launch year, and anything that's already on backorder.

The percentage on this page is not our own calculation: it is the difference between today's price and the reference price the retailer itself displays. Where no reference price is shown, we show no percentage, because no discount is better than an invented one. The page updates automatically, prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears rather than sitting here as an expired offer.

Salewunder is funded by affiliate links: if you buy through a link here, we earn a commission. It makes no difference to your price, and what gets listed is decided by the discount, not by the commission.
