Roots is a Canadian brand first, and its Amazon.ca presence is a slice of the full range rather than the whole catalogue. Expect the Original Kanga hoodie and Original sweatpants in the brand's cotton fleece, salt and pepper crewnecks, the beaver logo tees, Cabin socks and cabin-style flannels, along with kids' and baby versions of the same sweats. Leather goods, the Banff bag and the Roots 73 luggage line appear less consistently, and the seller mix includes Roots' own store as well as marketplace resellers, so the selection changes often.

Buying tips: Roots sweats are cut relaxed, and the Original fit is roomier than the Slim versions the brand also makes, so read the fit name in the listing before you pick a size. Reductions on Amazon.ca are usually specific to one colour and a few sizes, so open the card and confirm your combination carries the discount. With leather goods, check that the seller is Roots or Amazon.ca itself; resellers are not automatically a problem, but authenticity is easier to trust and returns are simpler. Salt and pepper fleece is a heavier weight than the summer fleece and worth the difference if you are buying for Canadian winters.
