Samsonite deals

Samsonite on Amazon.ca runs from entry-level to premium. The Omni PC and Winfield hardside spinners and their two- and three-piece sets are the volume sellers, with the Freeform, Voltage and Centric lines a step up and the Proxis, S'Cure and Lite-Shock at the top. Softside lines, business backpacks, laptop bags, packing cubes and TSA-approved locks round out the range. Canadian pricing is higher than in the US, and sets are where the largest dollar savings tend to appear.

Buying tips: check the size on the card, because carry-on, medium and large versions of a line are often grouped in one listing and only one may be reduced. Air Canada and WestJet carry-on limits are similar but not identical to US rules, so compare the listed dimensions with your airline before you rely on a 20-inch spinner as cabin luggage. Colour affects the price too, so confirm the reduced price applies to the colour you want. Amazon.ca and Samsonite's own store sell most of the range, but marketplace sellers are present; the manufacturer's limited warranty is simplest to use with a receipt from an authorised seller.

Timing: Prime Day in July and the Black Friday to Cyber Monday week are the two big moments, and Boxing Week from December 26 onward is a third, when Amazon.ca clears luggage after the gift season and before winter travel. Ahead of the summer holidays, individual spinners are often reduced, and when Samsonite refreshes a line the outgoing version is cleared over several months.

What gets reduced: Omni PC and Winfield sets and older colours are reduced so regularly that a discount there is routine. Premium lines like Proxis rarely drop far, and new-season colours generally hold full price until the following year.

The discount shown here is not our own math: it is the difference between today's price and the list price the retailer itself displays. If there is no list price, we show no percentage – better no discount than an invented one. The page updates automatically; prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears instead of lingering as an expired deal.
