Buy container sets rather than single pieces. The value is in having lids that interchange within one family, and mixing families leaves you with lids that fit nothing. Also check how a set counts its pieces: a 24-piece set is usually twelve containers and twelve lids, which is the most common source of disappointment here.

Storage and organization in Canada spikes in January after Boxing Week, when the decluttering push begins, and again with back-to-school in August for lunch containers and bins. Amazon's July Prime Day and October event both reach this category, and totes are often cut ahead of the winter storage season.
