Nike deals

What turns up here is mostly Nike's running and training footwear — Pegasus, Revolution, Downshifter, Free and the InfinityRN line — alongside court classics such as Air Force 1, Blazer and Court Vision, plus Dri-FIT tees, shorts, fleece hoodies, socks and the Brasilia and Heritage bags. Which of those are reduced changes from week to week, so the page reflects the current state and nothing more.

The useful trick with Nike is to treat colourway as the lever. The same shoe in the same width and the same model year is often reduced in one colour and full price in another, because Nike prices by how well a colourway is selling, not by the shoe. If you are flexible about colour you will nearly always pay less for identical hardware. It is also worth knowing that Nike's sizing runs a touch narrow across the running lines, so if you are between sizes or wide-footed, size up rather than assume the discount is a bargain you can live with.

Athletic footwear and apparel follow a clear rhythm in Canada. The two Amazon events — Prime Day in July and the October sale — are when running shoes and training apparel move hardest, and Black Friday through Cyber Monday is the deepest window of the year for fleece, hoodies and everyday sneakers. Back-to-school in August is the other real one, when kids' and youth sizing gets cut. Boxing Week into January clearance mops up whatever is left of the winter apparel.

Nike runs factory outlet stores across Canada and a clearance section on its own site, and the pattern there is the same one you see on Amazon.ca: past-season colourways, the odd sizes at either end of the run, and models that have just been superseded by the next number in the series. The Canadian assortment is thinner than the US catalogue, which is part of why a specific colour or size ends up reduced here while the headline version never does.

The percentage on this page is not our own calculation: it is the difference between today's price and the reference price the retailer itself displays. Where no reference price is shown, we show no percentage, because no discount is better than an invented one. The page updates automatically, prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears rather than sitting here as an expired offer.
