Garmin deals

Garmin's Amazon.ca presence is mostly wearables and navigation: the Forerunner running watches, Fenix and Instinct outdoor models, Venu and vívoactive for everyday use, Edge cycling computers, the Index scales and heart rate straps, plus dash cams, marine and aviation gear and the inReach satellite communicators. Which of those are actually reduced shifts week to week, and this page shows only the present state.

The important thing with Garmin watches is that the model number tells you more than the name. Within the Forerunner or Fenix line, the differences that carry a price premium are the display type, the mapping, and the multi-band GPS — not the training features, most of which reach older models through software updates. If you do not need maps on the wrist, a previous-generation watch usually does everything the new one does for far less. For Canadian buyers, the inReach line is worth a thought separately, since much of the country has no cellular coverage at all.

Sports and outdoor tech in Canada has two natural windows: spring, when running and cycling season starts and last year's watches are cleared, and the Black Friday to Cyber Monday stretch, which is the deepest of the year. Amazon's October event and Prime Day in July both catch the wearables, and Boxing Week into January picks up whatever gift stock remains.

Garmin has no outlet stores in Canada and sells direct as well as through retailers. The reductions typically land on the previous generation of a watch after a new one is announced, on the less popular case sizes and band colours, and on bundles that add a strap or a heart rate monitor. Canadian availability is narrower than the American catalogue, so an older model can stay listed here long after it has been superseded elsewhere.

The percentage on this page is not our own calculation: it is the difference between today's price and the reference price the retailer itself displays. Where no reference price is shown, we show no percentage, because no discount is better than an invented one. The page updates automatically, prices are rechecked regularly, and anything that is no longer reduced disappears rather than sitting here as an expired offer.

Salewunder is funded by affiliate links: if you buy through a link here, we earn a commission. It makes no difference to your price, and what gets listed is decided by the discount, not by the commission.
