Practical advice for ASICS is mostly about fit and generation. ASICS shoes tend to run slightly narrow, and the brand sells many models in 2E and 4E wide fittings, so if you have a broad foot check the width option rather than sizing up. Because each flagship gets a new number every year, the Kayano 30 and Kayano 31 can sit next to each other at very different prices; the older edition is usually the better value, and the differences between neighbouring versions are often minor. Confirm the discount applies to your size and colour, since reductions are usually per variant. Where possible, favour stock sold by Amazon AU for straightforward returns, and treat unusually low marketplace prices on premium models with some caution.

Timing follows the retail calendar: Prime Day in July, Black Friday and Cyber Monday in November, Boxing Day and the EOFY clearance in June. The most predictable ASICS reductions, though, come from model changes.
