Prints rotate every season, which is what drives most of the discounting.

A few practical points. Vera Bradley sells the same silhouette in many patterns at very different prices, so the deal is often tied to one specific print; check that the color you want is the one carrying the strikethrough price. Read the fabric line carefully: quilted cotton, Performance Twill and ReActive look similar in thumbnails but feel and wear differently. Amazon carries a mix of Vera Bradley's own store and third-party sellers, so look at the seller name if you care about the current-season assortment rather than older stock.

Discounts cluster around a few moments. Retired patterns get marked down when the new seasonal prints arrive, typically in spring and fall.
