On, the Swiss running brand, is on Amazon.com mostly through its Cloud family: the original Cloud and Cloud 5 as everyday and travel shoes, the Cloudswift and Cloudflyer for road running, the Cloudmonster and Cloudsurfer with thicker CloudTec cushioning, the Cloudrunner for a more supportive feel, and trail models such as the Cloudventure and Cloudultra. The Cloudnova and Cloud X cross into lifestyle and gym use. Apparel is a smaller part of the assortment, with running tees, shorts, the Weather Jacket and socks appearing from time to time.
A few things to know before buying: On shoes generally fit slightly narrow and some runners size up half a step, particularly in the Cloud 5 and Cloudnova. Wide fits exist for only a handful of models. Because the same shoe is sold in many colorways, the reduction almost always applies to one specific color, so check that the strikethrough is on the color and size combination you want. Note the generation in the title (Cloudmonster versus Cloudmonster 2, Cloudsurfer versus Cloudsurfer 2), and be aware that On's own Amazon store and third-party sellers can list the same shoe at different prices.
Reductions arrive with model updates, usually in spring and fall, when the outgoing generation is cleared. Prime Day in July and Black Friday through Cyber Monday are the other reliable windows, and end-of-year clearance often takes in apparel and colorways that did not sell through.
