Watches turn up occasionally, and the annual Christmas ornament and the Kris Bear and animal figurines appear around the end of the year. The seller mix is a combination of Amazon Australia itself and marketplace jewellers, including some shipping from overseas.

Buying tips: Swarovski is crystal, not gemstone, and the plating rather than the stone determines how a piece wears, so look at the finish named in the listing. Rings come in Swarovski's own numbered sizes, which map to standard Australian sizes differently from what you might expect, so check the size chart on the card and confirm the reduced price is offered in your size. Colour or tone matters too: a pendant might be reduced in rose gold but not in rhodium. Given how many marketplace sellers list this brand, check who is selling, whether the item ships from within Australia, and whether it comes with the brand's box and certificate. A price far below Swarovski's own boutiques is a reason for caution.

Timing: the biggest reductions come in the gift seasons.
